Well well well, the day has finally come.  I’ve completed the total conversion of DeadKennedy’s El Paso for RtCW’s first Mod, The WildWest!  (originally designed for Western Q3)

The final release download will be at The WildWest, as part of a Mod Update patch or mappack add-on. Untill then, take a peep at some level shots here.

It has taken me longer than I would have liked.  But hey, between a natural disaster, going to school/work full time, a gigging band, a girlfriend, and sleep - atleast it was finished at all!  Actually, the Insynerate Team has a few more maps that need finalizing which have been offered to me to wrap up.

As always, I have other projects I am trying to work on. Namely my original RtCW map mp_murderx (which has been over 3 years in coming). I know many people would say why bother for such a dated game. To which i must reply, RtCW is in my opinion, arguably the best FPS shooter game ever released.  All one has to do is point out the lack of servers and interest for new MP games, such as Q4 or D3 - atleast compared to the RtCW when it was nominated GOTY in 2002. Sure the new games have more bells and whistles, and would be very fun to work on (as a modeler), the fact remains that where continued playability and enjoyment is concerned, you’re better off with RtCW or even Q3.

Lastly, I have written a few tutorials concerning Modeling and will likely be shifting newer content in the coming months towards that end, beginning with Modeling 101 for Maya.  Keep posted!

Still alive and kicking (after escaping New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina hit). I’m back home now & getting back into the swing of things.

I’m currently resuming work on conversion map for the RtCW mod, the Wild West.  The Wild West is an under-rated Western shooter mod. It is actually quite fun and still holds onto the better parts of RtCW.  I’ve enjoyed the solid interaction with the Dev Team, Insynerate, and will gladly lend a hand whenever they need it again.

However I am leaning more towards modeling recently, and my site should be reflecting that more throughout next year.  In fact, a new project is in the mix, involving pender, a crazy-mad skilled artist/animator. Will keep ya posted.

Been awhile since an update, so here ya go:

Sadly, our mod team had to close it’s doors a few days ago, after nearly 2 years of hard work. Its a shame, but we all learned some vital lessons regardless. I for one am eager to start a new project. So to all recruiting mod teams, if you need a guy in mapping or modeling, email me!

The tutorials page and basic pages throughout the site are once again in place.  I’ve negelected the site since the redesigning months ago, but I’m aiming to fix that.  So expect some content to be returning to the Haus. For the time being, the tutorials are available.  But the files, maps, tools and links page’s are still barren.

Also, Just to make an official posting on it.  I joined a HL2 mod team about a year ago; RTk Development.  Our mod, SR-2053, will be a total conversion, inspired from the RPG Shadowrunner. Our official Media release is coming up, so stay tuned!!
